The design work is done at the NIO Global Design Center in Munich, Germany’s automotive industry capital.
As part of its driver service concept, NIO has developed a state-of-the-art generation of robotic stations for the rapid replacement of EV batteries.
The stations remove a depleted battery and replace it with a fully-charged one within just 144 seconds.
Delek Motors began importing NIO vehicles to Israel in 2023 as an indirect importer, and has supported the premium brand’s market penetration process with five select models.
In summer 2024 Delek Motors was chosen to be granted the official brand concession – a world first.
Under this concession, Delek Motors is going to flesh out its offering to the Israeli customer, to include the following additional brands from the Group:
Electric road-off-road vehicles of the ONVO brand and a variety of models from the subsidiary brand, Firefly.
At the same time, Delek Motors has embarked on a project to deploy NIO battery replacement stations nationwide.
