MINI

MINI is a British car brand that was first launched in London in 1959.
The MINIs are true to their name:
Compact, minimalistic and economical.
The brand is synonymous with a design language replete with character and an elegant, distinctive retro look, which has gone on to become one of Britain’s pop culture icons of the 1960s.

For four decades, MINI made several series, all excelling in economy – both in terms of space and in terms of fuel consumption.

The Cooper and Cooper S models are the brand’s sporty versions, which have over the years taken part in motor sport competitions and even won the Monte Carlo Rally several times in the 1960s.

Later on, MINI developed a pickup version, a minivan and small off-road vehicles. Contemporary versions of these are still on sale today.

The brand was acquired in 1998 by BMW, giving it a mechanical and technological facelift by integrating developments from the BMW drawing boards at the heart of the characteristic look so closely associated with MINI.

Since 2011, Delek Motors has been the owner of the concession for MINI in Israel, as part of the BMW brand portfolio.

The Company offers the Israeli consumer a variety of MINI models, including three classic electric models – the electric MINI, the new MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman.

Besides these, the 3-door and 5-door gasoline-powered versions are sold in Israel, as well as a convertible and the hybrid MINI Countryman.
